Restaurant or cafe near Paddington

#723379

Postby GoSeigen » April 10th, 2025, 1:23 pm

Can anyone recommend a place to have a quick lunch on Saturday near Paddington Station (best option), Edgware Road or Baker Street stations?

Looking for somewhere laid back and inexpensive but not a boring old Costa! Any food ok, ethnic welcomed, Italian always good or a decent cafe. We had a place we always went to but sadly it closed. We're meeting an elderly aunt who lives nearby so somewhere with a toilet and attentive staff would help.

Thanks!

A pleasant stroll along the towpath from Paddington station takes you to this canal-side bar/restaurant in Little Venice that I have used a few times. Open from 11 a.m. daily.

There are a number of cafes and restaurants in that area and they are typically not too busy except on sunny weekends.

Thanks Lootman, I'd like to visit that place someday especially as our relatives used to live very close by, but it looks like a bit of a hike for our 80-year-old Aunt to get to on Saturday.

Eddie's is close to Edgware Road station and will likely be our venue. Will feed back if it goes ahead.
