I used to collect old / vintage postcards (photos only) and before I sold most of them to a dealer/publisher of books about London I'd had 56 of the 100 in the London Life series". Mostly purchased from specialist auctions, the highest price I paid for a particularly rare card was £110. I dread to think how much the lot would be worth / fetch now. I kept a few cards, some art cards of Mucha and one of Swiss Cottage, NW London.

* i think my recall is wrong. Looking more carefully at the cards in the link, I don't remember having any of them. Perhaps the series that I collected had a different name or perhaps was earlier series of the same name by a different postcard publisher, I shall check.

Searching on line to jog my memory, I think my collection would've have been of Rotary Photographic Company' 100 cards in its 'London Life' series. Example depicted here:
