Fantasy Premier League
Hi all
Once again the football season approaches. Unless anyone has already done so (and it doesn't appear so) as last year I am preparing to set up a Lemonfool league. Here is the joining text as prepared by the FPL:
For the 2022/23 Fantasy Premier League why don't you join my mini-league "Lemonfool FFL"?
Joining the league couldn't be easier. Simply use the link below and you'll be added automatically after you've entered the game.
https://fantasy.premierleague.com/leagu ... oin/5bzsh0
League Code: 5bzsh0 End of FPL prepared text.
I hope to see all of you who played last year together with a few new players.
Good luck and best wishes to you all.
Alan

I'm intrigued. I can't think of any reason technical or otherwise why you can't enter.

I am a (part) owner and Director of a football club. FA and League rules prohibit such activity, as they do for players and other staff.

Didn't know that especially as at least one Premier League footballer plays and is active on You Tube on the subject. However,
the prohibition makes sense even though I doubt whether all footballers abstain.

There were a number of incidents in the last couple of years that raised concerns. The one that got picked up on by the media was when Jack Grealish didn't play for Aston Villa one weekend with a number of Aston Villa staff having made alterations to their team during the week.

Not sure, but it might have been my son, Tel’s Angels. He beats me every year. Infuriating!

Re: Fantasy Premier League
Just received an email invite to be in the audience of a new TV show . . . .
FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE
After 18 years off our screens, Sky are bringing back Fantasy Football League, the iconic comedy football show blending football fanaticism with celebrity chat. Originally fronted by the show's creators, David Baddiel and Frank Skinner, the duo will be passing the ball to brand new hosts Matt Lucas and Elis James. Fantasy Football League will be returning to our screens this autumn for a new series on Sky Max & NOW, and the shows will record at Riverside Studios.
