Going by the comments on CPFC's fan's website, Palace played well and should have won (Benteke!). I was going by the BBC reporting - obviously a Palace hater.
It's an improvement - CP have lost their previous 4 opening home games.

CP were the fourth best team I saw play last season - better than Chelsea, [expletive deleted] and Manchester Utd on the day. I cant believe how they struggled in the league given their performance when I saw them. I think they will surprise a lot of teams this year if they can keep Zaha.

Would be very interesting to watch Wolves/MU match tonight. Wolves (AKA FC Mendes ) have an interesting project IMO. Not only they managed to keep their main guys like Ruben Neves, but they also got some interesting new guys. I've been following Cutrone and I still think Milan completely misused him... not that he's such a brilliant striker, but if he'll play regularly, I think he could help them a lot. Same for Dennis Praet, very talented guy, he did good with Sampdoria.
On the other hand we have MU with their main star that doesn't wanna even play for this team anymore (Pogba), but their front line seems better even since Lukaku left and Martial found a new motivation to show what he's capable of.

Anyways, I predict a good fascinating match.

Sadly they didn't surprise the Blades at the WE. Gonna be a struggle again this season I'm afraid.

everton dominated the game , but villa got two very good goals , everton didnt.

Wolves 1 Burnley 1 Apparently according to all the reports Burnley had enough chances to have buried Wolves today, oh well will have to make up for it next week at home to Liverpool then

A bizarre own goal followed by a grave individual error was largely due for Liverpool coming away with the points this time, still Burnley will come back with something special at Brighton next time out I’m sure.

Back to league action this weekend and 3 more top 6 posts for my lot at Brighton hopefully.

A very below par performance form the team today apparently and apart from the first 15/20 minutes Burnley were pants.

Nice too score a scorcher in injury time to save the day for a point, which usually happens to Burnley.

A 2-0 win against Norwich City with Wood opening his account with a brace is more like it, as bad as the performance was last week it was just the opposite for this game.

It could have been a lot more according to some reports and a stone walled penalty against "Basher" Barnes was ignored by the ref and VAR.

I question what is the use of having VAR if it's not going to be used for the obvious penalties.

The undefeated run continues with a good point away at Villa followed by three at home to lack lustre Everton.

A really hard one away at Leicester on Sat. so not expecting much if anything this week.

CP doing well this season so far standing 6th in the league which seemingly supports my view they are a decent side. But why isn't Camarasa playing? He took to the Premier League like a duck to water last season.

villa have another new player - marvelous nkamba - who will also become much better known this season .

john mcginn and jack grealish have made there mark already.
