Yes no age really now a days is it and very sad as he seemed quite unfazed by all the headlines reading some of the tributes to him.

Hi Stan

I've read that Martin passed away from Alzheimer's. And if I recall correctly he was always the guy heading the football when the goal keeper kicked it long.

I headed the ball twice. The second time it nigh on took my head off. I ducked after that and played with my feet. I think they are going to have to start thinking about heading the ball. Far too many footballers are paying "the ultimate price".

I couldn’t agree more ASiY in fact the Walking Football group I now play with have a rule that nothing over 6’6” is legal, which works very well.
