best app for scores as they go..?

as a complete non techie when i look in app shop for some app to get me football scores without waiting 5 minutes etc i find masses of options

can anyone please recommend a simple and easy/quick one that will give me the 'now' score in any game i enter in search bar?

its for a tablet so not one with a million ads please

I’ve been using Onefootball for many years and very happy with it.

It doesn’t have a ‘search bar’ but you can save favourite teams and favourite leagues. You can also set it to send you notifications when goals are scored in your ‘favourite’ matches.

Flash Scores works for me, Mainly on a web browser on my laptop, but also as an app on my android phone and tablet

Simply go to the BBC click on sport then onto football and there you are live prices.

I use the Sky Sport app for cricket and rugby scores. For cricket it updates ball by ball.

I subscribe to Sky, so don't know if it is freely available.
