I know CB didn't want to see this again until after Christmas, but I think it looks so good, he'll appreciate a post bonfire night update:)

I like to use statto.com for tables - you can look at tables part way through a year, so Sunderland fans can gain succour from the fact that a year ago they were in 19th place with 6 points after 12 games, as opposed to this years 20th place with 5 points after 11 games. ;)

You have to choose the "Table" option, then there are drop downs to choose the league, the year, and the date. It is sometimes a bit flaky, and occasionally disappears completely for a few days, but when its up its brill. The other thing I use a lot is the "team" pages such as this one:

http://www.statto.com/football/teams/liverpool

This shows that Liverpool's league position is all the more impressive when you look at who they have played so far. You'd expect away games against the top teams to be the hardest games. Liverpool have already completed 3 out of 4 of the away games against the other top 5 teams, whereas Chelsea in second have only been to [expletive deleted]. [expletive deleted], in the meantime haven't visited any team in the top 7 yet, although they have had 3 out of the 4 other top 5s at home.

Statto have increased the amount of betting related links on their site in recent years, which is presumably how they monetise the site. I don't know who owns or runs it, and their site isn't very forthcoming. But its not me.

I only started this thread to show Plymouth Argyle leading the way in league 2 and see if it would poke CB and the other TMFers into life:), but that is a great web site DM, thanks for showing me how to use it.

Reposting the table in case anyone missed it. It really does look better by the week, a truly fantastic web site:)
