Palace huge outsiders but will be up for it for sure - so will their support. The Cup is realistically the biggest prize of all for a club of Palace's size. A once in a lifetime achievement none involved will ever forget. Just another semi for the other "big" three.
The absolute dream would be to beat Liverpool in the final. Their meeting (in the semi final) 32 years ago remains one of the classic Cup matches.
I am looking forward to Sunday with excitement and dread in equal measure.

Re: FA CUP semis
As a Scotsman, the FA cup is one of my favourite sporting events.
I particularly like the earlier matches with the lower league clubs over the winter. Like you say, it is an opportunity for lower league clubs to have a dream come true and that shows in the effort they all put into their matches. It's also great to see the supporters reacting so enthusiastically.
It's a great competition.

Re: FA CUP semis
Arguably their presence in the semis would make the Europa league the biggest prize they can capture. It may be held in some contempt locally, especially compared to the sanctified FA cup, but a European stage is rather useful when recruiting, and it is a fairly open competition.
Two of the most memorable games I've attended were UEFA cup games, a thoroughly toxic game during which united supporters chanted 'You killed your own' for 90 minutes followed by a boring 4-3 YNWA love in against a very decent BVB.
