Best line in the reader-comments section of the BBC Football report for last nights Germany v England match, presumably regarding the foul on Kane that led to his equalising penalty -

Don't mention the VAR...

:O)

Cheers!

That’s very good! BTW is there something wrong with Pickfords right hand? Why is he only using one hand to try and save the shot for their goal? His terrible kicking was badly exposed last night. Ederson he is not!

All the best, Si

Pickford is a very frustrating keeper.

Normally, he's a great shot-stopper when he doesn't get time to think too much, but he's never been the sort of keeper where I've thought he's got full command of his own box, and when given any time to have to make concious decisions, then it's often the case that he creates an amount of unnecessary risk.

As for his distribution and kicking ability, ours can't be the only household where we have bets on how long it'll take him to deliver a goal-kick that goes straight out of one of the sides. We're never waiting long, that's for sure...

Still, he inadvertently delivered one of the funniest moments of last season, when he'd spent a full hour persistently wasting time straight from kick-off when Everton visited Anfield in the league, theatrically falling to the ground after almost every catch he made whilst it was still 0-0, and where they all suddenly sprang into life after Liverpool scored.

Allison came good at the end though, and when you even get the opposition goalkeeper taking the mickey out of your blatant time-wasting antics, you must know you've let the sport and yourself down...

That Allison mimic made me laugh so much
he always look so dour, but obviously has a cracking sense of humour.....
