Anyone see Moeen Ali's amazing innings? Lots of records broken. 33 off one over. Fastest 50. Bairstow and his stand broke the South Africans.

I saw the last 20 minutes of the SA innings highlights on BBC2, Stubbs getting to 50 in 19 balls!!

Did I hear correctly that Ali had made 50 in 9 balls?

He made 50 in 16 balls faced, it may be that only nine scoring shots were required, he hit six sixes so that would require 14 off three balls without a six that seems unlikely.

Ironically it was a Chris Jordan over that provided the finishing touch. When Stubbs was hitting anything within reach for 6, he bowled an over for just 3 runs, which made their unlikely chances impossible.

Great fun for all (except SA of course). I'm a test cricket fan but T20 is undeniably fantastic entertainment.

T20 is great
try (and stay wake) watching a 5 day slow game that ends in draw, and re-evaluate it then :)
