Kane to Bayern?
Bayern Munich and Tottenham have agreed a deal in principle for England captain Harry Kane worth more than 100m euros (£86.4m).
Kane, 30, has one year left on his contract with Spurs and must now make a decision about whether or not to leave.
100 million Euros is a lot for Tottenham to pay, but they'll be glad to get shot of him

At least he won't need to learn German. They'll all speak English better than he does.

Re: Kane to Bayern?
With him not wanting to sign a new contract, I think £+80m is good going. I don't know why clubs pay that much for someone they might get for free potentially in 6 months time on a pre.
I'm surprised he didn't push for a manchester move but we don't know what is going on behind the scenes or in his head.
Mason Mount was another big transfer with a year to go.
The players have all the power now, too much IMO.
There are a couple of other big names in similar positions earning stupid amounts being told sign or go but happy to sit tight.

Because Bayern want to secure his services before the scrum and have the cash to do so I guess.

Sky (and other sources) now saying that he's now not so sure and likely will stay at Tottenham.
Not sure if that means accepting a contract extension or running down his existing to be able to look at offers from English clubs come January. That wouldn't go down well with Mr Levy's boss.

Surely you mean the agents - some players are virtually indentured to their agents - all about churn for them.

Re: Kane to Bayern?
Looks like its a done deal now.
So, the England Captain is bought for a small fortune by Germany's footballing behemoth.
.
.
.
.....Kinda reminds me of the heady days of the year 2000 when Vodafone Airtouch took over giant German industrial conglomerate Mannesmann AG (in reverse, obvs.)
(Well, this is an investment site after all.... )

Re: Kane to Bayern?
He doesn't owe Spurs anything.
He has been persuaded to stay time and time again by the club hierarchy telling him that this time it will be different, better. Instead, things have got worse.
He is the greatest English goalscorer of his generation, yet his trophy cabinet is empty. Spurs aren't even in the European Conference this season. Man City will almost certainly win the EPL again. It turns out Spurs only win the cup in a year which both ends *and starts* with a 1.
If I was him I would already been in lederhosen and tucking into a big plate of cherry chocolate cake with a stein of cold Hell*.
£85m will allow Spurs to pay off N'Dombole's contract and buy a third ranked striker from Moldova no one has ever heard of before.

*more likely pasta and chicken washed down with water and perhaps a coffee, but...y'know.

Re: Kane to Bayern?
I think Harry might have 3 good years in the Bundesliga before coming back to Tottenham and helping them get promotion back in to the Premiership.

Sky headline (probably)...:
Does Harry Kane need to leave Bayern to win trophies?
