Fools

I am going to SP next week - apart from the usual (the Hermitage etc) anyone have recommendations for more obscure sites (less touristy) and genuine local restaurants?

Thanks T7

Years ago the Admiral Teiski was a good restaurant. But that was in 1989. The canal cruise is good, and out of town PetroDvorets (Peterhof, etc) is a good excursion. One of the palaces (Yelagin) has a glass museum, which is interesting.

I would like to go to St Petersburg, assuming the OP is talking about the Russian City. (It has an 's') Maybe he can tell us how he got on.

The mention of the Hermitage would provide a very strong clue.

Indeed although I live not far from another Hermitage, a long way from the Russian City though.
