I am looking for simple cross platform app development software, preferably free!
The app is nothing complicated. Just connect to a Bluetooth BLE peripheral and download some data, a few 100k at most. Then, upload to a Web server once an Internet connection can be established. Both steps manually initiated.
Any suggestions?

Based on BASIC! Might be good for quick prototyping, as long as I can remember my BASIC. Will definitely take a look.
From what I have found, Google's Flutter might suit me well. Based on yet another programming language (Dart) unfortunately, but it looks similar to C/C++/Java that I am familiar with. Widely used, so hopefully easy to get support.
