PDF editor? Libre Office user.

PC Pro August edition reviews PDF Editors. Most of them require an expensive subscription (especially Adode). The winner is Wondershare PDFElement Standard which has a one off fee of $79 for a perpetual licence. Pcpro says 'it's an absolute bargain' and that the facilities are likely to be enough for most users.

The pro option only adds OCR so stick with the standard one unless you need that

Their top choice is PDFills which is what I use for all the tasks you list except commenting. I can comment well enough for most purposes in the Acrobat reader.

PDFsam basic will split, extract pages from and combine pdfs gratis.

The combination _may_ let you do everything you need for free.

Good morning all. Windows 10 laptop running Libre Office 6.1 for the occasions I need to use office software. It all works fine, but I seem to not have the ability to edit pdf's? Typically I want to comment on pdf documents, insert or delete pages, combine files into pdf documents etc.... To convert native office documents to pdf I use "MS print to pdf" or in Libre Office "export as pdf". Beyond that, I can't see how I can edit pdfs having created them? I need another tool beyond Libre Office? (In corporate life I used Acrobat Full version or Acrobat Pro, that's not an option any more though as I don't have a licence).

There is a very simple answer to that one. Use LibreOffice Draw:

You just open the pdf and edit it. LibreOffice Draw is easy to learn. It is much like any other drawing package.
