The benefit to the processor is typically small. The benefit to the graphics can be significant, especially if you have a computer with several large display attached, as it is having to shuffle more information around.

I've noticed on the recent YT reviews of laptops with AMD Ryzen CPU's that the matched dual channel RAM graphics boost has been more significant than it used to be.
Historically around 10-15%, now it's more like 30%+. Mostly in gaming situations where FPS is important.

Gen 11 Intel CPU's are almost matching AMD for built in graphics performance these days - interesting times - especially with the Apple M1 move to ARM...

Good point re the increased impact. I'd guess as integrated graphics become higher performing, they see more benefit/bottleneck from increasing/decreasing memory bandwidth, rather in the way higher performance discrete GPUs need more memory bandwidth, or indeed as you increase the number of cores in a CPU socket, the no of occupied memory channels becomes increasingly important, and you now see Sever CPUs with 6 or 8 memory channels rather than the 2 channels in a typical desktop or laptop CPU.
