it MUST be easy...but...
I am trying to update my old Windows 7 laptop
I had it stripped back to clean...except for Google and Libre Office
so it now 'runs' any info records that I have stored on memory pens without a problem
BUT
I cannot find how to transfer an update of my bookmarks
I went to settings etc and clicked import, but it only seems to import from IE
it tells me I have updated saved passwords...not yet checked
but
apologies
how do I update/import my bookmarks
having been totally stripped back it seems....seems!! much faster than this my Windows 10???

Re: cant see for looking !!
did you export your bookmarks from the "old" iterations of web browsers?
If not then you havent any bopokmarks to import. Unless you also held them in IE and IE has remembered them (which i doubt it has)
didds

You mention Google, so perhaps you are trying to import Chrome bookmarks.
As above, once you have exported Chrome bookmarks from one installation, you can import them. You need to select the "HTML bookmark" option when you import from within Chrome.
I'm not sure how you've ended up doing that as part of tidying a PC though!
