I noticed yesterday that the most recent MS Security update on Windows 10 (KB5009543) appears to have prevented use of a selection of VPN networks. From checking the intertubes there's a similar problem in Win11 (with a different ID) .
The good news is uninstalling the patch restores the necessary functionality.
However with my normal (because stuff normally just works) configuration it will get reinstalled when I go to bed.
I can pause updates to stop that happening (for a while) but is there a way to either:
- mark an update as "JUST DON'T DO THIS"
- or subscribe to notifications that it has been superceded and hopefully fixed
-sd
