Hi,
I want to delete some icons from the start/apps menu in Windows 11. I Click start, choose all apps, this lists all apps. For most I can right click and choose uninstall. But HP have placed a few icons there (such as an icon for booking.com which when clicked simply opens Edge and brings up the booking.com website) which when right clicked don't give me the option to get rid of it. How do i get rid of it?
Thanks
Andy

Sounds like it is just a shortcut rather than a program if it opens as a webpage.
A quick search suggests finding it on the C drive and deleting it from there....

You could search the C drive for "booking" and open the folder the shortcurt is in, or if you right click the icon do you get an option to Open Containing Folder?

It may also be a small advertising app installed by the grasping pc manufacturer, in which case you need to uninstall it as any other app.

DrFybes is almost certainly correct. The really easy way to find the shortcut is to right-click on it in the All apps list, then select More > Open file location. It will open File Explorer at the location holding the shortcut, most likely somewhere in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\...
