I think I might have asked this before, but not got an answer. Also, things will have evolved so the answer may be different these days.
How useful is a Chromebook for playing media offline? Can I, for example, download BBC iPlayer programmes when on wifi, then play them later when off-grid? Similar question for Amazon Prime Video and Netflix?
Also can I have stored mp4 files (or similar) and play them with an app like VNC when offline?
EDIT: I note the BBC say "no" https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/ques ... chromebook but this page says you can if you load the Android iPlayer app https://www.chromecomputing.com/how-to- ... chrome-os/ and save downloads.
