I have just bought a Huawei AD80HW 23.8 inch 60Hz IPS FHD Monitor from Argos for £119.99. It seems to be a decent no nonsense monitor. Aside from turning the brightness down a little it was fine out of the box. Virtually no instructions. Just an IKEA style diagram. There is a fairly self explanatory row of buttons under the screen. It is big improvement on my 7 year old Samsung S22D390HS 21.5 inch TFT monitor, which always had a washed out display with poor colours. How does one pronounce Huawei, by the way. Is it "who are we"?

There are lots of Chinese characters on the box. I expect that they sell to people with a taste for the exotic. This machine has become a pleasure to use even with Windows.
