Hello All,
I am thinking of updating to the Iphone 15 Plus Present phone is Iphone 7 showing wear and tear.
My question is, can you log into the Iphone 15 with a passcode instead of face recognition. Reason is my wife and I share the phone and some of the banking sites need to be authenticated from the mobile so if I am out this would not be possible due to the face needed to log on.
Thanks,
Alex

You should be able to set a passcode only if you avoid setting up face ID altogether - just check that the banking apps et al are OK with passcode only on a biometric capable phone. They should be - but check anyway...

Re: Iphone 15 Plus
I did a quick web search, and it seems that you can register an "alternative appearance" with your Iphone.

Hope that this helps.
Ps according to a web search Android may also offer this option under an different name.

While adding multiple people to Face ID is easy enough, in what situation is this actually useful? This is a great trick for partners who regularly use each other's phones.
Hope that this helps.
