Good Service Story

After spotting wet carpet and floorboards that had been there for a while, we tried to get our usual plumber. He was flat out with 5 other leaks plus higher paying boiler jobs. However he helpfully sent a mate round who soon spotted that an old steel earth strap had eaten away at the 15mm copper pipe leading up to the water meter. Water had been p*ssing up against the floorboards for some time.

He immediately fixed the problem with good humour to our delight even though it was 5pm and he had other work to go to.

Meanwhile we had had several Severn Trent people around for various reasons who were equally in such good spirits (external stopcock). We have just had a new front driveway laid with wonderful hardworking youths doing a 10 hour day in the cold and rain. All our various delivery drivers seem cheery too.

Also many of these people seem very good at sending text messages and other communications to ensure the work gets done.

It seems to us that people who are currently working are enjoying working and giving very good service which is rather a good thing!
