Anyway......
Mayfair is madly expensive but all of London Zone 1 is as easy to get to as any other part so no reason not to have it somewhere else - I work in Westminster but can get to anywhere.
The get togethers don't tend to have topics, you can't really tell people what to talk about, but those subjects invariably come up.
So, I think we need to say a Friday this time - summer meet up? Around 3rd week of June, before everyone starts off on their holliers?

Yep - late June sounds sensible. Not too sure about Friday - it would suit me OK, but central London pubs on a Friday night can be somewhat ...busy

No, it doesn't "tail off", you're confused, it "takes off" - as in, they wear less so more people turn up to watch!

A good point. 8 June is our last (planned) volleyball session of the season, after which I'm all yours! C.

It works much like a marriage, the away teams often seem more alluring.
Our Tonbridge ladies won the Kent Cup and the Kent League, I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate them.
Occasionally in the summer I set up a net and court outdoors in Tonbridge, all are welcome to join in. I shall post such occasionas here in case anyone is brave enough.
