Within two months he had learnt to read and write fluently in English and five other languages. He enrolled at the gym and lost four stone in six weeks, sculpting an amazing body. Never having been married, at 65 he met a beautiful young lady forty years his junior and they were married within the year. She adores him.

With his new found reading skills he studied Maths and Physics and entered into correspondence with eminent Maths and Physics Professors at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. He has now received visiting Professorships in Mathematics, Physics, and Literature. The startup AI company that he founded in his unused coal-bunker is rumoured to be attracting interest from Elon Musk who has put in an initial offer of several billion pounds.

Unbelievable really, but not that uncommon apparently.

A "friend", huh?

So... What's your next move going to be, CiffEdge? ;)

"and lost four stone in six weeks"

I'm hoping to live past 80 (my dad and grandparents did) and my dieting at the moment consists mostly of portion control, as I need to shed a bit of weight. My rule of thumb is that I should feel moderately hungry at mealtimes: if my tum isn't rumbling then I ate too much at the last meal so I should cut back a bit.
Then there's the usual targets: BMI below 25, preferably about 21-22 and waist measurement ~ 50% of my height.

Exercise: I like running but my knees are complaining a bit about the high impact. So combining that with other things like walking and swimming.
