National Trust opens up for walking

I see that the National Trust is opening up a large number of its parks and gardens to the public, free of charge, in the general hope that getting out and about into the fresh air will help people who are feeling "hemmed in" by the coronavirus emergency. At the same time, it will be closing many/most of its indoor venues, because cramming people together just isn't a good idea any more.

So if the kids are driving you mad, or if you want somewhere different to walk the dog, the world is now your lobster. More details at https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/press- ... s-covid-19 .
