Very sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my mother 22 years ago. The pain gets better leaving the memories behind. It never goes but it will get better.

mine died 5 years ago , aged 100 , i was quite upset then .

we were not close at all , but she was always there , now she isnt .

On to her next life.

I dare say the memories of her from recent months are not so good. Have you some happier pictures from past times... perhaps one you could load as the desktop on your computer. Let the good memories erase the bad.

So sorry for your loss.

People will tell you that time is a healer, and it is. But time takes it's time. Take your time to mourn your mum's loss.

Reading your post has reminded me that my mum died on 15th January 1992, i.e. just over 30 years ago. I didn't remember on the day itself.
