OVERPAYMENTS TAX CREDITS
Posted: March 6th, 2024, 8:37 am
letter dated Feb 23rd
letter states tax credits stopped and overpayment no required to be repaid
certainly not had tax credits of any kind in many years
overpayments made in tax year 2007/8
30 days to pay from letter date
no information at all about what/why/how or indeed any info at all
how do i find out if they are now correct?
will they find other years?
kids left uni in 2012 and 2014
bank info for paymebt appears usual one as used in annual return
is there any way that I can check what they claim...or will this just rattle their cage and initiate problems all over
