My bones didn't feel it. Indeed, had I not already been overweight Financials, I would have been gradually adding to my various Prefs, as secure income is more important to me than capital. Not that capital doesn't matter.
You mention in that other thread that US Treasuries are yielding 5.5% ... or have I misunderstood? As someone who has never bought Treasuries, how would I start? Can you point me at a Noddy guide?

Treasury yield is not 5.5% but 5.8%-3% = 2.8%. Or 2.9% yesterday to be more precise.

P.S. "Secure income" is only a relative term as applied to any sort of share capital, but I expect you know that already.
