X-trackers FTSE 100 Equal weight

#260932

Postby torata » October 29th, 2019, 11:31 pm

I wonder if any other Lemon Fools held this ETF (XFEW), which has now closed?
And if so, where they are thinking of reinvesting?
I haven't found any replacements so I may go for a FTSE all-share ETF.

Background: XFEW sat with FTSE 100 and 250 in approx 1/3 weights each in the UK basket of my SIPP.

(By way of comparison, I understand that in the US there are around 100 equal weight ETFs covering US indices).

I bought XFEW with the freed up money I'll be buying a world tracker Vanguard's VWRL or perhaps their high yield global. I already have a fair bit of UK 100 shares and still have a regular FTSE100 etf so I'm taking this as a chance to diversify away.
