REIT ETF

I'm trying to find an ETF for my REIT allocation. I've come across two:

IWDP - iShares Dev Mkts Prop Yield UCITS (0.59%) Fund Size 2182m USD
EPRA - Amundi FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global ETF (0.24%) Fund Size 672m EUR

As the two funds are similar, would it make sense to go for the lowest cost of the two?

Do they follow an index, or are they 'active' management funds? Is it a suitable index: cap/equal weighted; broad based; upstart or long established? How closely do they track their index? Do they use 'synthetic' methods bringing counter-party risks eg they lend their holdings, or use futures contracts?
Does the ETF have a long enough history to be give confidence it will persist? Are there other costs like transactional costs not included in the x.y% figure? Are they currency hedged?
With a lot of money for a long time, the cost difference would mount up; a lot less so with smaller for shorter.
Perhaps most important of all: is this a better choice that just putting the money in a low cost global tracker which will have real estate holdings included?

I've been looking at the same ETFs. Have you checked you can easily trade both on your
chosen platform? I found EPRA is quite illiquid and may require telephone dealing and/or
a large bid/offer spread, so I went with IWDP in spite of the higher charges.
IWDP also has a longer history.
