VHYL dividends paid 2017 (Vanguard FTSE All-World High Dividend Yield ETF)

Hi All!

I've been searching high and low for this but can't find it anywhere, and Vanguard themselves can only supply the US$ equivalent figures . . .

Can anyone tell me the pounds sterling amounts actually paid on VHYL for each of the four 2017 quarters?

(Finally getting my records up-to-date and it's the one year I'm missing for some reason!).

If they distribute in dollars, and it looks like they do, then it's going to depend on the exchange rate and fees applied by your broker.

By my AJ Bell dividend notifications

30/12/16 £0.23852
5/4/17 £0.27582
5/7/17 £0.493479
4/10/17 £0.307752
5/1/18 £0.246272

These are all payments per share.
I have put in the 30/12/16 and 5/1/18 figures as bizarrely there appears to be
only 3 payments actually made in 2017 but your accounting will use the appropriate
2016 or 2018 payment figure.

Hope this helps!

Thanks that has been useful to me to. I bought VHYL recently and wanted to fill in the history.

Do you have any other dates as my first divdend was only June 2020.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Arb

Subsequent figures from my last post are

4/4/18 £0.27333
5/7/18 £0.50929
10/10/18 £0.36679
9/1/19 £0.27714
10/4/19 £0.30175
10/7/19 £0.56429
9/10/19 £0.37178
27/12/19 £0.23984
8/4/20 £0.31762

All amounts are per share.
I've taken these calculations from each AJ Bell dividend communication.
I've held since 2014 and its payments are a bit up and down but steady on an annual basis.
Am I happy holding it? Its total return is not as good as Vanguard All World etf but you lose nearly always for the higher dividend.
Saying that, JP Morgan Global Growth and Income IT and Scottish American IT have both done better than VHYL for total return.
Well,up until now anyway!

Thanks, very useful. I might look at the JP Morgan one for my daughter who wants something straightforward as a long term saving investment.
