Hello all,
I currently hold JMG investment trust. It has done ok over the years but I’m gradually moving towards an index portfolio - I realise I am preaching to the converted on here!
Any suggestions on an emerging markets index fund/ETF. It is a long term buy and hold to be drip fed monthly until retirement (15 years away).
Obvious choices include Vanguard EM stock index fund, and iShares EM equity index fund. Both are similarly priced.
Any others, or does anyone own these?
Many thanks!

Re: Emerging markets index fund
VFEM tracks the FTSE Emerging Markets index, whereas the Vanguard Emerging Markets OEIC tracks the MSCI index. VFEM partners well with VEVE and Vanguard Developed World ex UK, which both track FTSE indexes.

Re: Emerging markets index fund
Interesting, especially as I hold Vanguard FTSE Developed World ex-UK already. Many thanks- will research further. I notice VFEM doesn’t hold Korea.

Re: Emerging markets index fund
I hold a HSBC emerging markets ETF, based on the MSCI index:
