2...'Div %Total' is the expected dividend of the share based on forecast yield
as a % of the total portfolio expected dividend
Yield figures are, IMO, totally irrelevant at this time. But the figures are "current" yield rather than forecast yield. Those that have declared cancelled or suspended I have "zero'd" for my own convenience.

Made a decision to move my SIPP to an IT only portfolio. The only share left in there is SSE which I will during the next year (hopefully) sell and buy or top-up an IT.
Have paid away all dividends received in my trading account and ISA. Retired in June so using this income for holidays and other expenses. Am currently building up my cash reserves (well nothing else to spend it on...)
How did my dividend income compare to previous years
Dividends per year | Yield on cost | Yield on value
| |
2015-2016 | 6.42% | 4.98%
2016-2017 | 6.43% | 5.99%
2017-2018 | 6.18% | 5.24%
2018-2019 | 6.64% | 6.39%
2019-2020 | 6.80% | 6.29%
Figures for previous years changed as during migration of spreadsheet to new version of excel spotted a couple of "bad pointers" and missing dividends. The "actual" amount of income rose by 8%, which was better than I expected.

ITs are now 54% of the portfolio. Dividend income was 65% from shares. My forecast last year on income was 6.6%, so 6.8% was nice.
Will not make predictions for next year. I hope to have money available later in the year to buy more shares in my ISA and re-invest my dividends form my SIPP into ITs (do not see any new money going into SIPP.
