I'll see your crass and raise you puerile :D

I too was not going to mention my only ten bagger, but I remebered an old Blockchain.com account I had maybe 3 or 4 uears ago - I made an online purchase and for UK, they only accepted bank transfer or BTC (don't ask...). Anyway, back then foreign currency bank transfer was £10 per transaction, while BTC was a few cents, and I was interested in the concept of crypto. Anyway, there was about 50c in change. I had another look recently, and it had risen to >$10! Apart from being a pointless example, it's an unrealised gain - I don't think it's even possible to transact that little now!

I got the statement for my holding of JP Morgan Natural Resources fund accumulation units this morning. The holding goes back to 1970, when I bought 500 Ebor Commodity Units at 35p (7 shillings in old money). They have been added to on a monthly basis since 1978, and I sold four chunks to fund a PEP subscription along the way. They also changed identity to Save & Prosper Commodity Units and then to JPM NR. The IRR is 11.6%, and had the various changes along the way not happened, the original cost, adjusted for a 2 for 1 split, of 11.7p would now be about £72.85. Currently the cost per unit is 28p.
