Precious metal miners ETF/UT/IT/OEIC

#455255

Postby BT63 » November 3rd, 2021, 8:31 am

I might be looking to increase my precious metal exposure in the next few weeks, particularly to metal miners.

I might use up my ISA allowance for it which might limit eligible investment choices. I don't want to have to deal with overseas taxation.

Which ETF/IT/UT/OEIC funds are worth looking at?

Thanks!

If major miners, I would suggest investment trust BRWM (Blackrock World Mining trust).

Other possibles to consider might include BERI (includes commodities and energy), or CYN (includes small miners, fixed interest).

Thanks.

I'm mostly looking for exposure to precious metal companies.

I forgot to mention (and then couldn't edit my OP) that I looked through (quite sparse) lists of precious metal funds offered by my brokers and the only ones I have any familiarity with, or which I am not familiar with but my broker recommends, are:
Blackrock Gold & General.
Jupiter Gold & Silver.
Ninety-One Global Gold.

Wisdom Tree Precious Metal ETC (PHPP) gives exposure to physical precious metals. Platinum, gold silver and palladium are the metals.

Thanks but I already have exposure to physical metals; I am looking for the higher risk/reward of precious metal miners.
