I found the answer via a Google reverse image search. I'd never heard of this model but the manufacturer, although a familiar name, was a surprise.

Fraid it wasn't that difficult to cheat, by enlarging the photo. (Actually by grabbing the grille with Snipping Tool and then bigging it up.) Although for one awful split-second I though it said Negresse.
By the standards of 1950s/1960s France, that car was in quite good condition.
