For the benefit of anyone who hasn't seen it in PH.

Perhaps enough to deter all but the most ardent optimist from buying a second-hand example.
The comments are interesting as well.

So, do you feel lucky?

Especially if it goes wrong - https://www.thedrive.com/news/41493/tes ... ir-matters (Person damages the cooling system of the battery pack after running over over road debris; Tesla's only solution - buy a complete new $16k battery pack).

To be honest, I wonder why anyone would buy a Tesla.

Anyone who calls a volunteer who risks his life diving into a flooded cave to rescue trapped children a "pedo" is not deserving of my money.

An interesting perspective on car buying.

Henry Ford was by all accounts not a terribly nice chap, would that be influential?

Mix Musk, his Asbergers, and Twitter, and that may sometimes produce an unfortunate outcome.

But relevant to one's choice of car?
Almost a topic worthy of the Snug.

I wouldn't buy a Tesla because they're too heavy too fat too complicated, but then that can be said of virtually all modern cars.
