Green Flag

Just had an odd letter from Green Flag saying that my next policy will be administered and arranged by UK Insurance Limited (as, apparently, is my current policy).
I'll get my invite to join Green Flag Ltd next year.
Can anyone clarify what this means please?

It means its part of the Direct line group, so is been administered by part of the Direct line group called UK Insurance Limited. That's the name that appears on my Direct Line insurance policy too.

"Green Flag Limited is an Introducer Appointed Representative of U K Insurance Limited. U K Insurance Limited is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. Green Flag Breakdown Cover is underwritten by U K Insurance Limited."
You are buying an insurance product. Green Flag is a marketing brand of the insurance provider.
