The powerbank for mobiles - for EV's

I did wonder if this would be the next interim step for EV owners -
I have used power banks for a while for my mobile - effectively a backup battery to charge the battery.

Now there is a power bank for cars... Like carrying a breakdown triangle in the boot I suppose for when you cant find a charging station and need a boost.
I havent found a personal device version, but there are diesel powered versions - more the sort you might carry in an AA van than in the boot...
like a mini lawnmower generator.
its against the principal but if you need a boost -then why not...
