Morning all
I am new to gardening and a few weeks ago bought a purple salvia from B&Q.
Recently the bottom leaves have started dying and the colour of the flower has started to fade. I’m worried that we either have the ‘wrong’ soil or it’s getting too much sun.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Cheers, OLTB.

Ahh - thanks stewamax, perhaps I planted it a bit late then...

Re: New salvia - bottom leaves dying.
Salvia can flower all summer. My Hotlips delights in full sun and flowers from May to September. They are easy to propagate from cuttings, so pot a few up in case the plant dies.
