Quite excited to have one of these in our garden this morning feeding off some of our potted plants. Never seen one before.

We also have a lot of swallows so not sure how long it will last - or maybe it would be too big a mouthful.

they like petunias in particular.

probably too big and too low for swallows.

They also seem to like Red Valerian. Very difficult to get a good photo of them, they dart about a lot and the wings are always a blur.
