I suggest you do. A lot later. Perhaps 10 years or so until you forgot you recorded it.

Certainly not their best work, and not their worst as it was too dull to earn that honour. When they reuse the same joke at two points in the same show you know they have run out of ideas.

We watched it last night. Very much a repeat in my opinion.

The quip that stood out for me was when May referred to the Republic of South Yorkshire. On its own, if you know the area and the people, it's a funny comment, but putting it in the context that May used it, it stood out at many levels

It wasn't their best work. The guys are looking tired, perhaps even old. There were some stunning shots of Scotland albeit not many of the sun

I don't now if anyone noticed the small Lada following the show everywhere they went.

AiY
Snorvey what car do you drive? I recall it was a Lada

I know I'm banned from Scotland now

I am 60% of the way through (my wife fell asleep) and reckon it's okay but not great. Fine if you just want something mindless to watch. It's not there finest work, the cliches about Scotland are a bit hackneyed, but it is still worth a watch.

I agree with the earlier 6/10 assessment. I must say the ending was disappointing. I wasn't very interested in the US v USSR thing. I think a little bit more effort and they could have made a better episode. It all felt too formulaic, like a painting by numbers episode. It's a shame because there is lots of dramatic scenery and interesting terrain that they could have used. It was good to see Knockhill, somewhere I've taken a spin or two around myself.
