I have to say that the newbie Steven Bartlett has added some much required rejuvenation to the latest series. In fact the third episode was very moving on several levels. Those who quit watching some time ago - give it another chance.

Seconded! Before his first appearance, the BBC site had Bartlett putting on a somewhat tiresome media spiel about how he was gonna shake it all up because he was the first black dragon. (Tell that to Tej Lalvani. ;) ) But yes, he's good. Sharp-minded, very involved and quite a lot more empathetic than some of his predecessors.

I've been getting a bit tired of DD recently, though I've been putting up with it because my wife likes it. But Bartlett does introduce a bit of freshness. And with Deborah Meaden pivoting firmly into the eco champion slot, it's getting interesting again. Best panel they've had in ages.

Likewise, as it had seemed to have simply descended to - “give me 25% to 50% of your company and I will introduce you to my contacts”.
