You bring back some awesome memories of my louche existence as a student in the mid seventies. Especially remember you growling:

"If I was a carpenter'

At least thats how I recall it.

Makes me aware I'm growing old...

The man behind one of the greatest live albums ever recorded: Joe Cocker's Mad Dogs and Englishmen. Leon was the musical lynch pin around which the whole performance revolves. A great talent, shame he wasn't more widely recognised.
