Re: Neil Peart RIP
Possibly not, as it was two nights I think !
It may have been three as Deeside leisure centre had a fire so they did an extra NEC date
I can still remember the space shuttle launch back projection, and the VOLUME

Re: Neil Peart RIP
A very sad loss, I have been a Rush fan since the late 70's and first saw them on their Farewell to Kings Tour at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1978. Neil's drum solo's were always amazing, which is more than can be said for most drum solos. I also enjoyed his songwriting, being a sci-fi fan I always appreciated them.
RIP Neil

I saw them a couple of years earlier in late 1981 in Bingley Hall for their 'Exit ... Stage Left Tour'. Four long haired rock fans in my rather unreliable Mini 850 making their way down from Manchester - how time flies.
Neil Peart was incredible, but the thing I remember most was the crowd surging back and forth and having no choice but to be pushed along with it.

All there..
Surprised their last concert was in LA - thought they'd end up back in Toronto, just to see the airport code YYZ on their luggage tags...

Never a fan of Rush but I do like a good piece of journalism when it's about music and this is one such article about Neil Peart and the band: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/music/artis ... st-albums/
Well written, and much better than a stuffy old obituary...
I noted that 'Beyond the Lighted Stage' is on Netflix so I may dip into that over the next few nights: https://www.netflix.com/gb/title/70137744
