'Succession' Theme Tune

Despite never having seen the show, i'm addicted to this theme tune.

Having looked it up on the net, I was surprised to see it described as 'hip hop'. Well, the beat maybe but everything else is classical to me.

Brilliant series - up with Breaking Bad and the Wire.

Well into the first series. Occasionally have difficulty with the sound, either me ears or they drawl a lot. Comparing it to Breaking Bad? Not sure I agree with that. I find a few, in fact quite a few of the actors miscast. Is it just me, but the directors seem to want them all to speak in staccato(those that have seen this might know what I am talking about.) Perhaps I will develop a better admiration for them watching more episodes.

Regardless, the above sounds like I don't care for it. I wont say its compelling viewing but it has it's moments, many of them actually and some quite camp and amusing if not shocking. That wiping window scene along with the in depth discussion of certain fluids, well, had to get another drink after that The midget twit like Sociopath come Napolean of a brother(Roman) is so bad he's quite good, but irritates the hell out of me.

Unfortunately like so many US series there is an element of mumblecore. I have resorted to wearing earpieces for this series and others such as Bosch. This slightly detracts from the pleasure of viewing but with complex storylines such as Bosch it is essential not to miss dialogue.

Ready for Season 3!!!! From Dallas to this. How times have changed and we are in one of the most extraordinary one that I never thought I would see in my lifetime. Anyone watched Contagion?
