8/10. Black comedy/shlock horror/thriller/satire of liberals v deplorables.
My last film at Cineworld before the upcoming "end of days" world shutdown, and a good one to finish on.
I enjoyed this a lot. There's a fair bit of gore & mayhem on display, but there's more to this film than this. Works fairly well as an action/suspense story, and the film takes aim at the entrenched views of both liberals and deplorables in lots of amusing ways. Betty Gilpin is really good in this.
Won't say anything about the plot because it has quite a lot of interesting and unexpected directions, so don't want to spoil anything.
