For theatre buffs who are missing their live performances (as I am), Hampstead Theatre is streaming 3 plays over the next few weeks:

https://www.hampsteadtheatre.com/

I saw one of them (Drawing the Line) about 6 years ago and enjoyed it. The other two are new to me.

Most plays at Hampstead Theatre are high quality. I live close by and have seen all three and would recommend them. Anyway, a lot better than 95% of the content of most streaming services

Saw it on the stage years ago. Brilliant. May watch it again - we could all do with a good laugh these days!

Watched last night Cypress Avenue - brilliant play starring a tour de force performance by Stephen Rea - go to Royal Court on YouTube and easy to navigate from there. Maybe easier routes - but this was simple enough for watching on TV.

Very slight warning - this is about N Ireland and an analysis into the Protestant mind of a severely unbalanced middle aged male. This is not a spoiler as indicated on the publicity - he believes his 5 week old grandchild is Gerry Adams.

Starts very funny and becomes more sombre as the play unfolds.
