For folkies missing their live gigs, Green Note (a London venue) will be streaming gigs at 8pm, Wed and Fri - starting tonight.

Great spot 77ss. I went to the Green Note last year to see Boo Hewerdine and Darden Smith. What a great little venue! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's great that they are doing this and I'll be interested to see how it works out. It looks like the first one is Friday 10th April https://www.greennote.co.uk/events-page/ (unless you know different!).

I'm slightly dubious about this bit - "streamed live from their homes to yours!" - but let's see how it goes.

Yes, I got the start date wrong, but no matter. I don't go to the GN that often myself - getting a bit old to stand all evening so it has to be someone I really, really want to see.

Last night was interesting. The usual tech hitches, but I enjoyed the session - 1 good act, 1 patchy, and 1 of no interest to me. A 50% hit rate works for me. I can't believe that that I've never come across Danny Schmidt before. Discovery is a joy.
