32 years on from their first incarnation. We caught the first of the current remade series last night - oh god, Imelda Staunton is amazing as A Lady of Letters. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p ... of-letters.

Nicholas Hytner (History Boys, Lady in the Van) is doing the production again, and he's taking the stories that little bit closer to the sexual edge than the original series. The second in the series, https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p ... nary-woman, is an understated stunner, but it'll probably shock your mother!

I finished watching the series last night. Wonderful writing and acting in every episode, exposing the dark underbelly of suburbia.

Let's be generous and class Top 30 as a hit. That will be 3 then, although I only knew of 'Once In a Lifetime' and 'Road To Nowhere'.
